Notice

We are required to retain a photocopy of the passport of all non-Japanese guests who do not live in Japan.

Effective April 1st, 2005, Japanese legislation requires that hotels and similar accommodation facilities must keep a copy of all non-resident, non-Japanese guests' passports on record. Accordingly, all non-resident, non-Japanese hotel guests are required to present their passports for photocopying when checking in and must also provide their nationality and passport number, in addition to regular details such as their full name, address, and occupation. We ask for the understanding and cooperation of all guests in this matter.

Check-in policy

Check in is available from 3 PM. (Please note that available check-in times may vary according to accommodation plan, but that rooms will not be available earlier than 3 PM.) Free luggage storage service is available upon arrival.


Check-out policy

Guests are required to check out before 11 AM and no later than 12 PM. (Check out times may vary according to accommodation plan.) If checking out after 11 AM, a surcharge equivalent to 10% of the standard room rate will be added to your bill for every hour after 11 AM.


Late arrival

Reservations may be cancelled if you do not inform us in advance when you arrive later than your estimated arrival time.


Meals

Hotel Kinki has no restaurant or kitchen facilities. There is a convenience store next door and many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Guests are welcome to bring food into their rooms.


Our Policy regarding Children

  • Children aged under 3 years may stay free of charge in the room using existing bedding.
  • An extra 500 yen charge per child per night applies for children aged between 3 and 12 years using existing bedding.
  • We define adults as those aged 12 years and over.
  • Staying with more than the maximum number of adult guests in the room is not permitted.
  • Cots or extra bedding are not available.

Example room rate calculation

If the total number of guests (including children) is less than the maximum number of allowed guests for the room, children are counted as adults regardless of age.
Example:
Adults: 2 Child: 1 (aged 0-2) staying in a room for 2 guests, e.g. Double Room; the child can stay for free.
Adults: 2 Child: 1 (aged 3-12) staying in a room for 2 guests; there will be an additional charge of 500 yen.
Adults: 2 Child: 1 (aged 0-12) staying in a room for 3 guests; the child will be charged as an adult.
Adults: 2 Child: 2 (aged 2 and 9) staying in a room for 3 guests; the child aged 2 can stay for free. The child aged 9 will be charged as an adult.


Payment

Payment can be completed online by credit card or upon your arrival. Both cash (Japanese yen only) and major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and American Express are accepted. We do not accept travellers' cheques. Advanced payment may be required for group reservations of more than seven guests.


Cancellation policy

If you cancel 1 day before checkin day, we may ask you to forfeit 20% of the total room rate. If you cancel on checkin day, we may ask you to forfeit 80% of the total room rate. You will be charged 100% of the total room rate if you do not provide any advance notification of cancellation.
